Agatunet is traditional Norwegian village center near Aga in Ullensvang by the Sørfjorden. The oldest building is the Lagmannsstova from 1220. At Agatunet you can book guided tours and see art and cultural-historical exhibitions. It is owned by a foundation.
Idyllic listed hamlet with 30 buildings ranging from the Middle Ages to present-day. The unique court of appeals courtroom and residence was built by the knight and lawmaker Sigurd Brynjulvson Aga around year 1250. Film, art, cultural and historical exhibits. Traditional costume exhibition 'Gåva frå mor' (gift from my mother). Cosy cafe. Museum shop. Guided tours every hour until 16:00. Meet the knight every Wednesday in July at 12:00. Traditional baking every Friday 24 June - 12 August.
