SMØLA
Restaurant Olsennaustet at Smøla
Naustet (the boat house) is ready, the tables are set, the chefs have sharpened their knives and we look forward to serving you local delicacies with ingredients from Smøla and the surrounding areas.
In the charmingly restored old boathouse called OlsenNaustet, with a history dating back to 1770, well known chefs from Kristiansund run the restaurant throughout the season. They are also open for private parties and corporate events during the rest of the year.
The menu is locally inspired, and they serve delicious shareable tapas dishes using regional produce from land and sea. Even some produce from Smøla can be found on the menu, such as dishes made from wild sheep, salmon, whale and crab
The terrace overlooking the sea is a popular place for lunch or just a well deserved drink or two in the sunset. They have all permits in terms of drinks and promote local brands.
It is advisable to book in advance since there is only place for 38 guests inside the restaurant.
