Lista Fyr Lighthouse
Visit Lista lighthouse. In addition to the lighthouse tower, you'll find a visitor centre, tourist information and bird watching station. You can also book accommodation in the apartments next to the lighthouse.
The Lista Lighthouse is a 34 meter tall stone tower which was lit for the first time on the 10th of November 1836. During the Second World War, a bunker system was built around the lighthouse to protect it from Allied Forces.
Follow the 134 steps to the top and enjoy the fantastic view of the Lista peninsula and the sea. Adjacent to the lighthouse is an art gallary, an information centre and an ornithological station.
There is a museum, shop and bird watching display at the lighthouse. The museum is not always open, but visitors can contact the Farsund tourist office for more informaiton on opening hours.
It is also possible to stay overnight at the Lighthouse. Guests will also get a privat key to the lighthouse. Each apartment is approximately 100 square meters, distributed on two floors. Each apartment has 2 bathrooms with toilet. One of the bathrooms has a shower and washing machine.
