The Bykle floodlit trail - round trip 5,5 km

The floodlit trail in Bykle is a nice round trip for walks in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Starting point is behind the Bykle Medical Centre, where parking is available. The entire trail follows a well-groomed gravel road, easy to walk, but with some steep slopes. The trail is accessible with bicycle and pram. At the highest point there is a nice view of the Støyledalen valley and the Botsvatn dam. From this point there is an unmarked, indistinct path to the top of Jarekollen, where you may enjoy a magnificent view of Bykle. We recommend you to do the trip clockwise.
