The photo exhibition We Have a Dream at Aker Brygge is a selection of portraits taken by one of Sweden's foremost photographers, Albert Wiking.
The exhibition is outdoors and free for everyone.
We Have a Dream is not about saints or superheroes, nor infallible people. It`s about people who have gone out of their own comfort zone to fight for what they stand for. They have used their voice to create lasting change.
We Have a Dream is a unique traveling exhibition and a book signed by one of Sweden's foremost photographers, Albert Wiking. Interviews are done by Oscar Edlund and texts written by Daniel Rydén.
The work has been carried out without the support of organisations and unaffected by political ideologies. They have compiled portraits of people who have stood up against injustice and which show us that through commitment one can contribute to creating change.
More than a hundred activists, peace prize winners, artists, writers and politicians have chosen to participate in We Have a Dream to inspire others to embark on their own dreams and visions. In the exhibition you get to meet i.a. Dalai Lama, Pussy Riot, Gunhild Stordalen, Marina Abramovic, Quincy Jones, Annie Lennox, Zara Larsson, Richard Branson and Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen.
The exhibition has toured in Sweden since 2014, but has its international premiere at Aker Brygge in Oslo.
