BossaFest comes to a close with a concert by Brazilian singer, guitarist, and composer Márcio Faraco, joined by Douglas Marcolino (accordion), Ricardo Feijão (bass), and Julio Gonçalves (percussion).
Based in France since the 1990s, Márcio Faraco has developed a distinctive musical voice that brings together samba, bossa nova, choro, and other Brazilian traditions, shaped by a refined, intimate, and poetic style. Since his debut album Ciranda (2000), he has built an international career, performing at major festivals and collaborating with artists such as Chico Buarque and Silje Nergaard.
