It is now over ten years since Inge Bremnes first left his mark on Norwegian musical life with the songs «Ikaros», «Meire Vi» and «Himmelblå» – three songs that gave him a solid breakthrough and ensured that the small coastal municipality of Kvæfjord in Troms was no longer only known for «the world's best cake», but also as the birthplace of one of his generation's foremost Norwegian songwriters – with streams in the millions and an ever-growing audience that follows him closely, both on record and from the front row in concert halls.
