Sunday dance at BUL-hytta: Anders Schjølberg og Brøndbo & Svaet

TrondheimFOLK and Folkedanslaget i BUL Nidaros invite you to Sunday dance at the BUL cabin. This time we have a visit from Anders Schjølberg and Gunn Synnøve Brøndbo & Stein Svaet.

Anders Schjølberg is an enthusiastic musician and newcomer to Trøndelag originally from Vågå. With fiddle well rooted in traditional dance music, Anders likes to explore the range between tradition and improvisation. Anders plays up to round dances and village dances from Vågå, as well as the occasional pols (traditional dance).

Gunn Synnøve Brøndbo and Stein Svaet are two accordion players with steady dance music in good harmony. On their repertoire they have round dances from Trøndelag, Gudbrandsdalen, Folldal, Østerdalen and further across the Swedish border.

This group of excellent musicians look forward to contributing with good dance music at the BUL cabin on Lian this November Sunday.

Sunday dance is a dance festival series in collaboration between TrondheimFOLK and Folkedanslaget i BUL Nidaros. To play for dancing we have various local groups, associations and solo musicians, in addition to some visiting musicians. Each Sunday dance offers two dance sessions and a longer coffee break with baked goods and cakes. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of experience and whether you come with a dance partner or alone.

Car or bicycle: there is a road to the cabin.
Public transport: tram to Lian and walk a short distance to the cabin.
