THE APE represents the primitive sides of humanity. Mindless imitation, reactive hate, the pull towards apathy and conformity. And at the same time: potential, growth, evolution. Revolution. The journey from writhing in the mud, crawling, standing, walking.

THE APE is ideological war against fascism, totalitarianism, apathy and conformity. The project holds ourselves, and those around us, accountable.

THE APE blends driving hardcore, dark post-punk and electronic elements with more classical, grandiose rock. The band has few limitations in their musical expression, but the sound can be reminiscent of bands such as The Armed, IDLES, Honningbarna, Birds in Row, MSPAINT and more.

UTFLOD has been called Bergen's angriest band, with irresistibly ugly music. Now the band crawls out from the shadows after birth and parental leave, ready to unleash a new wave of madness.

– Concert starts: approximately 22:00

– It is not permitted to bring items such as rucksacks, bags, large handbags, umbrellas, bottles/cans and similar into the concert hall. Such items cannot be left in the cloakroom for storage either.

– Use of strobe lights and glycol/mineral oil based stage smoke during the event may occur.
