The activities are at the center of attention at Canvas Hove. SUP, windsurfing, kayaking, underwater safari with underwater scooter and mountain biking are just some of the activities.
At Canvas Hove with surroundings there are a lot of fun outdoor activities you and your familiy and friends can enjoy:
Hobiecats trimarans are one of our favorites for playing. Here you can choose between fierce sailing experiences or cruise around in shallow water. The boat has the possibility of propulsion even without sails, by stepping on pedals that propel the boat at a speed of 2-3 knots. There is room for two adults, plus two children. This boat is safe, steady and very fun.
Electric bikes – on Arendal´s best trails
Few people have tried to cycle through the forest with a fully-powered electric path bike. We promise you will have a memorable experience. Our guides can show you Arendal’s best trails including Tungvekteren and Åsbieskogen. We also arrange beginners courses.
SUP – Standup paddleboard
SUP is fun and challenging for everyone, whether you are four or 80 years. We rent these boards on an hourly basis. This is the world’s fastest growing water sport and that’s probably because the board has many uses. You can paddle a long trip, do SUP-yoga, play with the kids or have it as your own “platform” while snorkeling. Up to you. Get out and play!
Canoe with a transparent hull
This canoe with room for two gives you a unique opportunity to see the beautiful scenery both above and below the water. A large “window” in the floor gives you a crystal clear picture of what is beneath you. The large areas of shallow water in the Hovekilen are perfect for those who want to see the underwater world from a whole new perspective. Here are oysters, kelp forests, crabs, fish and hundreds of exciting things to look at.
Underwater safari with electric scooter
Southern Norway’s coolest activity? Experience the Raet National Park with an electric underwater scooter! Our guides show you an exciting world under water and show you oysters, sea lettuce, fish, kelp and many other things. The guided trip goes around Gjessøya if the weather permits, and takes around an hour and a half. You will receive training and wet-suit from us if you do not have one yourself.
