Hakkesetstølen

Hakkesetstølen is located 1050 m above sea level, surrounded by the beautiful scenerie and nature of Hardangervidda. Take RV40 from Geilo towards Kongsberg and follow the roadsigns in order to get to us. The mountain lodge is perfectly located for easy walks and cross-country-skiing. The paths and tracks are suitable for all ages and there are also possibilities for fishing. The alpine slopes are only 450 m away from Hakkesetstølen. We have 9 rooms in the central building. There we serve dinner and breakfast as well as norwegian delicacies out over the day in our café. Additionally, we have cabins and a flat where you can cook your own food Groups can join guided tour entitled «Mountain farm life then and now» for groups. See small animals such as rabbits and chickens. For refreshments you can buy: Halling fare, porridge made with cream, cured meats, farmbaked goods, coffee etc. On offer: Fishing licenses and rowboat/canoe hire. Overnight accommodation, groups and parties by reservation outside the season as well.
