Skurdals kerk

The church was consecrated by Bishop Dagfinn Hauge the 7th of September 1969. The church has a triangular floor plan and is constructed in timber and local stone. The triangle is a symbol for the doctrine of the Trinity. The altar was made by Victor Sparre. It represents the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Skurdalskyrkja has around 150 seats. Skurdal Church lies 12 kilometres from Geilo by Rv 40. Open: See notice at the church door.
