Auenhaugen located at Golsfjell Fjellstue/Auenhauglia west of Gol and is 1119 meters above sea level. Auenhaugen is in the Top 11 - the summit for the whole family. Great hiking with a good path all the way up to the cairn.
Starting point: Auenhauglia. Access by car is recommended. Go Rv52 to Robru and turn right onto county road 224 Follow it about 5 km to Sørbøl-cross, turn right and follow the road about 5 km from Gol Westside until you reach the area Auenhauglia. Then the landscape opens up, you get a view down the fjord Tisleifjord sharing regions Hallingdal and Valdres. Park at the large garage next Golsfjell Fjellstue.

- Cross 109 through 160 and 161 to Auenhaugen (Top 9). Total length 1.9 km. On top, there are restingplace and guestbook. (GPS: 32 V 494456 6744560)
The trip: Goes on well-marked trail and follow up through the mountain and to the top of Auenhaugen where there is a lovely view. Here's Skogshorn in Hemsedal, Hemsedal mountains, Hallingskarvet and mountains of Nesbyen.
When the weather is lice you may see Bitihorn in Jotunheimen and the whole mountain area.
