After a visit to the Aquarium, you’ll definitely know something you didn’t beforehand. In more than 60 large and small aquariums you can watch in fascination all the weird and wonderful things that go on beneath the surface at close quarters. In addition to getting to know the cod, and all the other creatures that live along the Norwegian coast, you can meet animals like crocodiles, snakes, lizards and common marmosets in our tropical section.
At the Aquarium you will find:

If you have a Bergen Card, you get a 25% discount on your entry from 1/3-31/10. One discount per Bergen Card. Please not that this discount cannot be combined with a student discount.
From 1/11-28/2 the entry is free with the Bergen Card, and you do not need to buy any tickets in advance.
Children under 3 years: free entrance.
Accessibility:
The entire facility, except for the roof terrace, is wheelchair accessible and includes elevators and ramps for easy navigation.
The aquarium is located in the city center, about a 15-minute walk from the Tourist Information at the Fish Market. However, the scenic route includes cobblestone streets, which can be challenging for wheelchair users. Alternatively, taking the car route provides pavements, though some sections may pose difficulties in accessing and exiting the pavement, similar to other parts of the city center.
If you arrive by car or taxi, you can be dropped off right in front of the stair-free entrance. Navigating during winter when the roads might have snow and ice are not recommended.
