Askim
Which power station you want to take first is entirely up to you.
Glomma turned former Askim municipality - now Indre Østfold municipality - into a power municipality. In the spring, many people make the trip to the power plants in Solbergfoss, Vamma or Kykkelsrud to see the mighty waterfalls. Why not do them via bicycle seat.
Take the train to Askim - This is a nice round trip of approx. 5 miles.
See map for description of the route.
Which power station you want to take first is entirely up to you. There is a nice bathing area at Solbergfoss.
On your trip, you will experience some climbs, see beautiful couture scenery. Not least see Glomma. If you get hungry or thirsty along the way, Askim has a lot to offer.
