Feda
From Sande, you can take a nice round trip up to Dyreknuten. Here you get a view of the Fedafjord. A little further down, you can go out to Skomakertippen, where you can see straight down into the fjord if you venture out to the edge. The round trip up to Dyreknuten is 5.3 km.
The path from Sande starts at the archipelago park facility by the fjord and enters a gravel road up to the old Westland main road. You follow it for 600 m until you enter the forest road up in Sandsheia onto the path out towards Dyreknuten. Descending from Dyreknuten, you come past a junction towards Skomakertippen and Kyrefjellet, before you come down to the road back to Sande. The tour is signposted and marked.
Access with your own car
From Feda you have to cross the bridge and take the first left. After half a kilometer out along the fjord, you come to parking, wharf, toilet and firehouse and the starting point for the trip at Sandsheia.
