Flåm has since the mid-1800s, when English lords travelled to the Sognefjord for salmon fishing, been a popular place for tourists. The guests were first accommodated at Christen Fretheim's farm, but in 1879 he built the first part of Fretheim Hotel.

122 rooms Fretheim Hotel offers a total of 122 rooms in various categories, all with beautiful views of the fjord and/or mountains. All our rooms are non-smoking and the majority are also carpet free.
Restaurant Arven At Fretheim Hotel's main restaurant, you can enjoy an amazing culinary experience with a magical view. Restaurant Arven is located on the first floor of the venerated Fretheim Hotel. From the restaurant, there are amazing views of the beautiful fjord landscape.
