Furøy Camping offers cabins of different standards and sizes. Sites for mobile homes, caravans and a large tent area. Furøy Camping is located along Kystriksveien (road 17) in Meløy, only 14 km from the glacier Svartisen.
The location of Furøy Camping makes it an attractive base for exploring Meløy and this part of Northern Norway. There are lots of activites you can do like hiking, glacier walks and kayaking. There are several companies in this region offering different tours.
In addition to the glacier Svartisen you may visit the mountain Glomfjellet with the stairways Fykantrappene. On top of the mountain, only 9 km from road 17, you can see the dam Storglomvassdammen, the worlds largest stone filling dam.
You can rent a boat and enjoy fantastic opportunities for fishing in the Holand fjord. This is a child friendly camping site with large outdoor areas and a playground.
The camping is located near Halsa and the ferry landing at Forøy in Meløy.
