Halnekollen is a small mountain top right behind Halne Montain Lodge.

Halnekollen is a small mountain top right behind Halne Montain Lodge. located by the main road rv7. It's a 30-45 minute hike (each way) that rewards you with an amazing panoramic view, all year!



You'll get a view of the three national parks: the mountain formation Hallingskarvet, the glacier Hardangerjøkulen and the vast Hardangervidda mountain plateau. A short hike with a real feeling of being in the mountains, and a wonderful break from the car drive.



This is a hike that's easy to do on your own, or you can go with a guide that can tell you about the mountain and it's biology, the history of the area and the national parks. Please contact us if you'd like a guided tour.



You are of course very welcome to buy yourself a good meal at Halne Fjellstugu afterwards.
