Langedrag Nature Park – Wildlife and Mountain Experiences in Norway
Welcome to Langedrag Nature Park, a unique mountain farm and wildlife park located 1,000 metres above sea level between Hallingdal and Numedal.Open 362 days a year for both day visitors and overnight guests, Langedrag is home to more than 500 animals representing 25 different species. Here you can experience wolves, lynx, arctic foxes, moose, reindeer, wild boar and a variety of farm animals in beautiful mountain surroundings.
Every day, you can join our guided animal feedings and learn more about the animals, nature and life on a traditional Norwegian mountain farm. Get up close to goats, horses, rabbits and other friendly animals roaming freely around the farm. For an even more memorable experience, join a visit inside the fox, lynx or wolf enclosures – you might even receive a wolf kiss!
Langedrag offers unforgettable experiences throughout the year. Try dog sledding in summer and winter, enjoy horse riding in the mountains, visit the climbing park or explore the surrounding hiking trails. During winter, groomed cross-country ski trails start right outside the farm.
If you would like to stay longer, we offer full-board accommodation in cosy surroundings inspired by Norwegian mountain traditions. For a truly unique experience, spend the night in Gaupestugu, our cabin located inside the lynx enclosure. From your window, you can observe the lynx in their daily lives, and their natural curiosity often provides excellent opportunities for close encounters.
Food is an important part of the Langedrag experience. We focus on local ingredients and traditional mountain cuisine. The farm has its own bakery producing fresh bread and pastries every day, a dairy where we make our own cheese, and a farm shop offering local products and souvenirs.
Langedrag is a place for adventure, learning and unforgettable memories for the whole family – all year round.
