By the fjord in the idyllic village of Rosendal, you’ll find Restaurant Baronen at Rosendal Fjordhotel.



Here, head chef Jon Aga presents a tasteful menu inspired by local traditions and high-quality ingredients. The well-regarded chef has a strong passion for genuine, homemade food, with a clear focus on locally sourced produce. Together with the expertise of the house sommelier, guests are served culinary experiences where food and drink are carefully paired. The sommelier is happy to recommend both wines and ciders that enhance the meal.



Restaurant Baronen serves a three-course dinner from 19:00 every day, and on request you can also enjoy a five-course dinner. During the low season, lunch can be arranged upon request if booked well in advance.



The atmosphere is both elegant and relaxed, with space for around 150 guests. Large windows open the room toward the Hardangerfjord and the surrounding mountains, creating a setting where nature, culture, and the flavors of the region meet at the table.
