By the shores of the Hardangerfjord, in the heart of Norheimsund, you’ll find the fully renovated Sjøhuset Restaurant & Pub, part of the historic Thon Hotel Sandven, established in 1857. This traditional boathouse reopened in May 2024 and has since become a gathering place for locals and travelers alike. With its blend of modern facilities and historical charm, Sjøhuset invites you to experience genuine culinary joy and a relaxing atmosphere right by the fjord.



The menu features a delicious mix of small plates, main courses, and delightful desserts, all based on local ingredients from Hardanger.
