This isn't just a play area; it’s Norway’s largest snow castle and a premier gathering spot for both locals and winter visitors in Rauland.

A World of Snow and Play

This year’s snow fortress covers an impressive 620 square meters and is crafted from 2,750 cubic meters of snow. Inside, you will discover:

• Two Large Sledding Runs: Designed with varying heights and steepness to suit every thrill-seeker.

• The Tunnel Slide: An exciting experience that sends you sliding right through the heart of the structure.

Located just below the Vierli Cafeteria, the snow castle is custom-built as a safe and adventurous playground. It is the perfect place for children of all ages to explore, play, and create lasting winter memories under the open sky.
