At the Historical Museum, you can travel back in time and experience a rich selection of artifacts from prehistoric times and the Viking Age. Discover the museum's exquisite Viking-age collection, featuring ceremonial swords, gold jewelry, and the original serpent head from the Oseberg ship. Explore the impressive collection of medieval church art and gain insight into the world's cultural diversity through the ethnographic exhibitions.
