Evjua Strandpark is situated in the middle of beautiful Totenvika beside highway Fv 33 between Minnesund and Gjøvik. The idyllic beach park is clearly visible from the road – just look for the restaurant Viken II, which is shaped like a traditional Mjøsa boat and moored at the jetty of Evjua Båthavn marina. In addition to the restaurant and marina, Evjua Strandpark offers accommodation at its camp site. The pitches extend all the way to the shore of lake Mjøsa, and you can enjoy activities such as beach volleyball, water trampolining, fishing, bathing and scenic paths along the lake, through the area's rich cultural landscape and traditional farms all the way to the forest. For the very fit, there are walks to hilltops, including Hervenknappen, with spectacular views of lake Mjøsa and the distant forests of Sweden. The venerable Kapteinsboligen – the Captain's Residence – offers accommodation for up to 9 people and is the ultimate holiday experience on the lake.
