Accommodation at Folldal Mines

Come and experience a unique mining community from the turn of the century. The site comprises around 70 buildings from the old mining community. Three of these buildings, the Director’s Residence, the Rallarstua Workers’ Cottage and House 16, are rented out as accommodation and all are ideal for self catering.

The Director's Residence
This is the old residence of Managing Director Worm H Lund. 8 rooms, sleeping a total of 14 people, are available. The house was built in 1910, and stands in stark contrast to the workers' cottages nearby. It was home to the Managing Director until 1931, and has its own swimming pool and tennis court. The tennis court is still intact, and is available to guests staying at the villa.
This venerable old building is ideal for small events or functions, and can offer seating for approx. 35 people in its welcoming dining room.
Self-catering facilities are available.

Rallarstua Workers' Cottage
This old workers' cottage has been modernised, and can today offer 7 rooms sleeping a total of 18 people. Shared living room / living space with TV, stereo and lounge on the mezzanine. Can also be used as a dining area, and for additional sleeping arrangements.
Ideal for self-catering.


Building 16
This is the old administration building where Worm Lund had his office. The building has been converted, and today it features 6 rooms (13 beds). Shared kitchen, bathroom and large living room.
