Amerikalinjen

Boutique hotel on Jernbanetorget square in the old headquarters of The Norwegian America Line (NO: Amerikalinjen), a shipping company that operated passenger and cargo ships between Norway and the USA in the 20th century. The hotel has 122 rooms and suites in classic and modern Norwegian design, which offer views of the city at the fjord, the Opera house or the green backyard.

The hotel houses a restaurant, an award-winning cocktail bar and the Gustav club, inspired by New York's jazz scene. Atlas Brasserie and Café serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner to both hotel guests and anyone else looking for a fine dining experience. There is seating in the Amerikalinje's year-round garden and outdoor seating at street level in spring and summer. The Pier 42 bar offers classic cocktails with a modern twist and a wide selection of wines.
