Bergen
Boccone is a relaxed and pleasant place in Bergen City Center for a glass of wine, some olives, perfectly grilled meat and an Italian evening with friends and family.
The restaurant spans two floors and features spacious, airy rooms with elegant interior design, creating a truly special atmosphere that feels both intimate and impressive at the same time.
The menu is inspired by Italian cuisine and built around classic favourites such as pasta, pizza and antipasti, all prepared with a strong focus on quality and clean, honest flavours. In Italy, meals are meant to be shared, and Boccone is designed for both small and large groups, offering generous table spacing and a warm, social ambience.
The restaurant’s signature experience is its Italian-inspired four-course menu, where the highlight is perfectly grilled tomahawk and beef ribs made from grass-fed meat sourced from Omaha and Sashi. The meat is served with flavourful Italian-inspired side dishes. The meal often begins with a selection of cured meats and sausages – classic antipasti – followed by homemade pasta served for sharing. The pasta is made from scratch and shared not only out of tradition, but because it truly deserves it.
Boccone also offers weekly concepts, including Grana Padano Tuesday, available every Tuesday from 16:00. boccone.no/grana-padano-tuesday/
For private occasions, Boccone offers two elegant private dining rooms (chambre séparée) accommodating 8 and 16 guests respectively. The larger room is equipped with audio and lighting facilities, making it suitable for meetings and smaller conferences. The rooms can also be combined to host up to 24 guests.
The restaurant offers tailored group menus and buffet options by advance booking and is a popular choice for larger gatherings in stylish yet relaxed surroundings.
Welcome to Boccone – for a full evening of the best Italy has to offer, right in the heart of Bergen, just steps from the iconic “Blue Stone”.
