City bikes: Oslo Bysykkel

Explore Oslo on a city bike – a convenient and environmentally friendly way to get around in the city!

The bikes can be found at 270 stations in and around the city centre. If a rack is full or empty, the next one is always close by.
The status (empty/full/available) of each station can be seen in the Oslo Bysykkel app or in the map of city bike stations.

Once you have paid for your subscription, you can pick out a bike using the Oslo City Bike app – with the exception of Discover Oslo, you can cycle for up to 60 minutes at a time. Cycling longer than 60 minutes? No problem, but you will be charged NOK 15 per 15 minutes. Maximum rental time is 3 hours. With Discover Oslo, you can have the bike for 3 hours at a time, on as many trips as you like for 72 hours.
