Flåmstova Restaurant is rustic, exquisite and contemporary, with a warm ambience. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything from traditional fare to our beer and food menu with locally sourced ingredients. During the summer season, we serve a large lunch buffet daily, with Norwegian and international dishes, and in the evening an à la carte menu with soup, small dishes, traditional dishes such as rallarbiff – beer marinated sirloin steak, pulled pork burger – with beer in and with the food, as well as fresh fish from the fjord.
Our culinary philosophy is that it should be Ægir beer in the food and with the food. Our exquisite kitchen serve local food and most ingredients are handpicked from the farms nearby. Ægir beer is a key ingredient in marinades and sauces, and hops, malt and herbs add that extra tang to the food.
The restaurant seats 95, and there are a further 50 places in the adjacent Ægir Tasting Room Peisestova, with its cosy fireplace.
