Welcome to our wood-fired sauna in the forest.

Find peace in our wood-fired sauna with a view of our lovely forest lake where you can cool off when the muscles are warm and soft! We have combined Norwegian nature with a specially built Lithuanian sauna. In the summer it is on Hestehagedammen, while in winter we will drive it down to the farm - or maybe down by the fjord.

Sauna, and staying in nature, is about peace and relaxation. It is delicious, and probably also important to let the body rest and recover, soften tight muscles and take good care of your skin. In Lithuania, sauna is also something social and unifying. Here the men and women gather in the village, here the families gather and here the friends gather to rest and talk together.

Our sauna can accommodate 8 - 10 people (regular distance during normal times), the sauna body is 5 meters long with a cloakroom. Regular rent lasts 2 hours with the possibility of extending the time. Towel has to be brought by you or can be rented from us for NOK 50

SPA AND WELLNESS

We offer spa package including introduction to the best sauna experience, scrub to remove dead skin cells, birch branches to increase circulation and moisturizer to keep skin soft.

We recommend using a wool hat to regulate body heat. The wool hat can be bought from us.

FOOD AND DINING

After several rounds of sauna and bath, you often get hungry and thirsty. Your are welcome to grill on our fire pan if you wish - or come down to the pub and garden at Gjestegården to be served a nice meal and a tasty drink.
