Heart-shaped glacial pot on Eigerøy

How to visit the pothole at Eigerøy

Parking is available at Auglend, at the southern tip of Eigerøy. From here, it is a short walk to the heart-shaped pothole.

A great discovery trip for young and old, but keep a close eye on the little ones at the water's edge.

Take care near the potholes

The rocks around the heart-shaped potholes can be very slippery when wet. Keep a safe distance from the sea and the edge, particularly in windy conditions or when there are high waves. Do not take any risks to get closer or take a photo, and turn back if conditions are unsafe.
