Lemonsjø Mountain Lodge and Cabins located 863 meters above sea level, at the southern end of the beautiful Lake Lemonsjø, on highway FV51 Valdresflya road, the gateway to Sjodalen valley in the heart of Jotunheimen.

Dining
The café seats 130 guests and is frequently visited by locals and visitors to the area. Our cafe is renowned for serving good, rustic food made using high-quality produce. Our menu includes traditional Norwegian classics and other popular dishes and varies according to the season. We pride ourselves on our delicious dishes and are happy to put together a menu upon request.
We can cater for all kinds of events and are fully licensed. A celebration or event at Lemonsjø promises to be a memorable experience, just as wonderful in winter as summer. We also offer a catering service for small or large functions.
Accommodation
Stay in our hotel with full board (book in advance) or one of our 10 wonderful cabins.
Lemonsjø Mountain Lodge and Cabins has 10 cabins, scattered around the west side of the lodge. The cabins are identical, offering views over Lemonsjø lake or the mountains. The cabins are fully equipped for self catering, but you can always indulge yourself by enjoying a good meal at the lodge. The lodge also has a TV and a sauna available to all our guests.
The lodge has 4 rooms, with beautiful views over Lemonsjø lake or the mountains. The rooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, seating area with table, desk, wardrobe and comfortable beds! There’s a common living room where guests can enjoy a cosy evening with drinks in front of the fireplace. There’s a breakfast buffet each morning and during the day food can be ordered from the menu.
Activities and Adventures
In the summer, Lemonsjø is an excellent starting point for trips to Geiranger, Trollstigen, Sogne Fjord, Jotunheimen and the Rondane and Dovre national parks. For hiking, the epic Besseggen ridge, Galdhøpiggen, Glittertind and Knudshø are all nearby. Or why not head up to Trollhø, a few minutes brisk walk from the lodge, with an amazing panoramic view of Jotunheimen and Rondane! Rafting the River Sjoa is very popular, as are canyoning and other invigorating mountain adventures. Mountain trout can be caught in many of the beautiful mountain lakes, and grouse offer a challenge in the autumn. Just experiencing the incredible autumn colours makes the trip worthwhile!
We rent boats, there are bike trails and can recommend many good places to explore.
In Winter Lemonsjø is a favourite amongst ski enthusiasts, for cross country, alpine and snowboarding. Around the lodge there are over 150 km of prepared ski trails, and Jotunheimen Lemonsjø Ski Centre is just 300 meters away. The area has plenty of places for outdoor pursuits in the fresh countryside. Listen to the silence, see the moonlight illuminating the enchanting landscape and maybe even experience the majestic northern lights dancing through the winter sky!
The ski slopes in Lemonsjø area promise excellent conditions for everyone, regardless of fitness or form. Go on a short or long trip, on gentle or challenging ski trails. The terrain varies from gentle forest trails to rugged bare slopes. The trails are prepared and maintained from December to April, depending on weather and snow conditions. Most of the trails have double ski tracks and some sections are suitable for skating.
