The ascent starts from the Fjord Building with the cable car to Mt. Hoven (1011 masl/3316 ftl). And when you are done exploring, the spectacular Hoven Restaurant will tempt you with mountain food and drinks.

Food experiences on the edge
Gourmet food is made 1011 meters above the fjord, innermost by the Jostedalsbreen Glacier. In a restaurant drawn from a James Bond movie - right on the edge of the cliff towards the fjord – on the top of Loen Skylift. Here you’ll find mountain hikers, climbers and well-rested party people – who all wants a taste of airy gourmet. The ingredients are mostly local, and so are the beverages: apple juice from the village at the foot of the mountain, 5000-year-old water from the mighty Jostedalsbreen and Odin's own beer. Events are held at Mt. Hoven throughout the year, i.e. concerts and special dinners.
