Here you can always experience the versatility of Edvard Munch’s diverse artistry in the museum’s exhibitions. Discover hidden gems and see world famous masterpieces such as The Scream, The Sun, Madonna, The Dance of Life and Love and Pain.

In addition to Munch's art, world class contemporary art is exhibited in the 13-floor building. By constantly changing the exhibitions, the museum makes sure that one can always experience something new during a visit there.

Artistic and cultural events are also figuring on MUNCH's calendar.

At MUNCH you can enjoy wonderful food and drinks. Partake in a culinary journey in their restaurant, which combines Norwegian gastronomy with international impulses. Here you may eat both lunch and dinner, or og one floor up and enjoy a cocktail in the sky bar, or outside on the terrace with Oslo at your feet. There is also a café on the ground floor that offers freshly brewed coffee, delicious baked goods and dishes made with fresh ingredients.

Booking of regular tickets
The number of people who can enter at a given time slot is limited, and to be sure of admission you must get your timed tickets in advance. If you do not prebook your ticket, the museum cannot guarantee that you'll be able to enter at the time you'd like.

Booking of tickets to MUNCH with Oslo Pass
There is currently no option for holders of the Oslo Pass to pre-order free tickets to MUNCH. However, in each available time slot, tickets are reserved for visitors with the Oslo Pass. These tickets are available on site. If there are no more Oslo Pass tickets available for the ongoing time slot when you arrive, you'll have to wait until the next timeslot with available Oslo Pass tickets. The wait will typically be 15-30 minutes.
