If you want to experience fjords, mountains, valleys and glaciers on the same trip, Nørdstedalseter is a great place to holiday.
The cabin is a good starting point for you who want to stroll trips in the beautiful valleys, and for you who want to go on longer trips with views, glaciers and peaks, or take a bike ride in Fortunsdalen. We welcome you to the summer season!
No guests should go to bed hungry, if you are walking to our cabin you are guaranteed to get something to eat. DNT works in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food to promote local food and food culture at the serviced DNT cabins.
With us, you get a three-course dinner every day. Where we use as much local ingredients as possible. For example, lambs that have well around the cottage last summer or deer from the neighboring valley. Potatoes and berries from Hauge farm in Skjolden.
For breakfast we have a good breakfast table so guests get a good start to the day. Most of the table is homemade and spiced with love. we make bread, crispbread and jams etc.
We also want to cook for those with food challenges and need special diets. Feel free to contact us in advance so that we can prepare a perfect meal for you.
