Kjøpstaden Brasseri & Bar

In the heart of Lillehammer you will find Kjøpstaden. 200 years ago, merchant Ludvig Wiese sat together with city engineer Lind. They designed and founded the Inland's first market town, in this exact location. Since then, Lillehammer's population has had Elvegata as a natural meeting place to socialize, over a coffee, lunch, dinner or party.

At Kjøpstaden you can choose from five exciting concepts in one building, all in a casual setting. why not enjoy some small dishes in our unique wine bar, relax in our library bar, or perhaps have a good lunch or better dinner in our brasserie. If you feel that's not enough, you can watch all sporting events in our sports bar, or maybe you'd rather dance into the wee hours in our Discotheque.

At Kjøpstaden you will find Norway's largest collection of board games, and you will also find 2 full-size shuffleboards. In addition, in summer and winter we have several large outdoor seating areas with sun from morning to evening. Enjoy the murmur of the Mesnaelven or enjoy some peoplewatching towards the street.
