Nye Hjorten Teater

Situated right in downtown Trondheim, Nye Hjorten Teater is a newly opened, dynamic venue that brings theatre to life the moment you walk through the doors. In the striking foyer, you’re greeted by an impressive chandelier by artist Ida Ekblad. The venue itself—designed by architect Svein Skibnes in collaboration with interior designer Anemone Wille Våge—is as imaginative and inspiring as the productions showcased on the Main Stage.

The theatre is also home to Teaterbaren and Olgas, a cosy and flavour-forward bistro drawing inspiration from sun-soaked California.
