Sperrebotn
For many, visiting relatives on a farm can be a unique childhood memory. In Våler you can wake up Østre Kjærnes - an idyllic farm right by Vansjø, with the opportunity to go straight out into the woods on a hike with "your own" alpaca or to paddle out on the water in your own canoe. Three holiday apartments on the farm have been named Gjedda, Gjørsen and Abborn - the types of fish you will find in abundance in Vansjø.
Vansjø was recommended as one of the 10 best destinations in 2021 by travel experts in Aftenposten. https://visitvansjo.no/overnatting2021/
