Rød Manor

Rød Manor in Halden is one of Norway’s best-preserved country estates. Here you can experience aristocratic interiors, beautiful gardens, and the stories of some of Halden’s most influential families over three centuries.

About the Manor

The manor bears traces of Halden’s history in shipping, timber trade, sugar production, and politics. The Tank family and later the Anker family left their mark on the estate through generations.
