Rondablikk, Cross-country Skiing

Set in a spectacular scenery and in close proximity to Rondane National Park, Kvamsfjellet can offer machine-groomed trails which connect to the trail network leading towards Høvringen in the north and Venabygdsfjellet in the south.

Set in a spectacular scenery and in close proximity to Rondane National Park, Rondablikk, situated at Kvamsjellet, can offer 210 km of machine-groomed trails which connect to the trail network leading towards Høvringen in the north and Venabygdsfjellet in the south.

This allows skiers to enjoy over 2,500 km of interlinked trails. At Rondablikk, the trails meander through a varied landscape ranging from gentle mountain terrain to old pine forests, providing skiers with a unique experience.

The network of trails offer routes with different lengths and difficulty levels. A small selection of reccommended trips are listed below. All the trails are well marked and each trip has its highlight. The different tracks are registered on Skisporet.no, which is a service providing real-time data on track grooming. This keeps you up-to-date on when tracks were last groomed. It is also possible to check altitude and length of the trails.

Every year the cross country ski race "Furusjøen Rundt" is organized. This is reffered to ad the adventure in Rondane and is a race with the distances of 22 and 44 km.

There are no public transportation to Kvamsfjellet, the easiest is to travel there by car.
