Overview

Nomadic art project overlooking Oslo's famous Opera House

SALT is a nomadic art project currently situated on Oslo’s shoreline, overlooking the city’s famous Opera House. The project brings together arts, music, food and architecture in four wooden constructions inspired by the traditional Norwegian racks for drying fish.

Langhuset
Concert venue, club, exhibition space and debate arena with room for 400 guests.

Árdna 
A space for reflection where you can experience the sound of the north in the audio works Iskanten (Jana Winderen), Living Land – Below as Above (Margrethe Pettersen) and Polar Low (Biosphere).

Naustet (The Boat House)
Café/bar partly built of driftwood found along the seashore, and furnished with details that may remind you of your  grandmother's cosy living room. Naustet also has its own wood-burning sauna that may be rented by groups of up to 12 people.

The Arctic Pyramid
70-metre "fish rack" that SALT which may be filled with art, culture and many visitors.
