Saudasjøen
Sauda Fjord Camping is located by the Saudafjord in Ryfylke. The campsite is open all year, but in winter you have to book in advance.
Sauda Fjord Camping has the capacity for approximately 100 tents and motorhomes. Situated by the fjord, this area offers a beautiful natural experience. Whether you arrive with a tent or a motorhome, you can enjoy the scenic surroundings and tranquillity of this area.
Facilities:
The campsite offers modern and excellent facilities. The sports lodge provides 19 rooms, each with its own bathroom including a shower and toilet. The rooms are equipped with a TV and internet, and there are also common areas such as a lounge, kitchen, laundry room, and playroom. Ski enthusiasts can look forward to a dedicated ski waxing room in the garage. On the second floor, there is an apartment for up to 5 people. This apartment comprises two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a combined living room and kitchen, as well as a TV and internet. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher.
There's also the option to rent a larger apartment on the second floor of the sanitary building, suitable for up to 7 people. This apartment features four bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a combined living room and kitchen, TV, internet, and a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher.
In addition to the rooms, Sauda Fjord Camping also has 18 cabins that can accommodate 4 to 6 people.
Activities:
The outdoor area is spacious and varied, with amenities such as a trampoline and a football pitch. For those who enjoy fishing, this is a possibility, and you can also rent a boat to explore the fjord. Taking a swim in the fjord is also an option, and golf enthusiasts can delight in the available golf opportunities. There are also several nearby attractions, such as the famous zinc mines in Allmannajuvet and beautiful hiking areas. Both Trolltunga and Preikestolen are within a short distance.
Season and Discounts:
The main season extends from May 1st to August 31st. Outside of this period, it is recommended to make advance bookings. NAF members receive a 5% discount when booking accommodation directly.
Food and Drink:
The campsite has its own bar and bistro, Sjøen 12. Here, you can dine indoors, order takeaway, or end your day with a drink at the bar.
Events:
It is possible to rent the premises for private events.
