Enjoy the peace, the scenery, and a fantastic view of Lake Hemnes from the Gjeterhytta cabin

​Welcome to Gjeterhytta, a newly built, cozy, and modern mini cabin completed in 2025/2026. With its 15 m², the cabin offers a warm and functional setting for a relaxing stay close to nature.



Gjeterhytta is ideal for 2–3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, and is perfectly suited for romantic weekend getaways, small family adventures, or a peaceful break from everyday life.



The cabin features a well-designed layout that provides great comfort in a compact space:




  • A kitchenette with dining table and chairs, equipped with a refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, and electric kettle


  • A daybed that serves as seating during the day and a bed at night


  • A sofa that can be converted into a bed, suitable for one adult or two children




The cabin is fully insulated, has electricity, and is heated by a panel heater, making it comfortable to stay in all year round.



A bathroom with toilet, shower, and washing machine is located in the barn right next to the cabin. There is also a convenient outdoor wash station with water in a container just outside the entrance. Additionally, the outdoor area offers a seating area for meals and coffee breaks in the fresh air, as well as a fire pit, perfect for evenings under the open sky.



Parking is available directly behind Gjeterhytta.
