Just two hours from Bergen is the island paradise of Solund. Norway`s westernmost municipality has 1700 islands, unspoilt nature, diverse geology and – not least – an outstanding setting for storm watching.
Our Storm Watching package includes a wonderful sea cruise from Bergen to Solund, guided storm watching hike, island hopping with the local post boat, meals and overnight accommodation. We will take care of everything and make sure you can fully enjoy this once in a lifetime adventure.

SOLUND STORM WATCHING PACKAGE 
Duration: 3 days - 2 night's accomodation Season: November - March Included: Guided storm watching hike, island hopping with the local post boat, accommodation in double room, all meals and transportation from Bergen. Price: NOK 3740,-.
Day 1: Travel like the locals on the commuter service leaving Bergen for Krakhella. From the ferry quay, the local bus driver will drive you along narrow, winding roads in a striking landscape. Your local guide will show you to Solund apartment hotel, where you can enjoy a dinner of locally sourced specialities. Day 2: You`ll be given plenty of information about the area and safety when storm watching, before we prepare to set off for the hike. Lunch is eaten at a local cafèrestaurant. In the evening, you can sample "Solund on a plate", with a two-course dinner.
Day 3: You can look forward to a guided tour and island hopping in a unique coastal landscape on board the local post boat. The captain will provide information en route, and point out hidden gems. Lunch is eaten on board or on one of the islands. In time you`ll be taken back to Hardbakke to board the express boat to Bergen.

ACCOMODATION
Solund apartement hotel is situated in the centre of Hardbakke and has a fantastic view over the archipelago. The hotel has been newly renovated with an emphasis on achieving high quality with practical solutions. We have eleven apartments with their own kitchen, dining and living areas. All the apartments have their own bathroom with shower, satellite TV, as well as free wireless internet access.
