TINE Meiriet Vik is located in beautiful Vik in Sogn. The facility annually produces over 65 tonnes of Gamalost from Vik ®, 5 tonnes of Mylsa and receives as much as 175 tonnes of local raspberries for juice.
Gamalosten is a fresh mold cheese with roots dating back to the Viking Age. At the Ostebaren in Vik, you will be served a story about Gamalost and how it is made, and here you can sit down with a bottle of raspberry juice and a slice of Gamalost.
