The Funny Farm - Open farm, Hobøl

At The Funny farm visitor farm you can greet many beautiful animals.
The farm is called The Funny Farm because you should have fun when you visit the farm. The Funny Farm is located in Hobøl, about 40 minutes' drive from Oslo.

At The Funny Farm, they put animal welfare first. Therefore, most animals run loose among people with large areas to frolic. The animals are trusting and cuddly and like close contact with people. Many of the animals are very tame. Here you can meet cute and tame minipigs, hens, rabbits, peking ducks, cats, beautiful peacocks, sweet goats, social dogs and majestic horses that you can cuddle with.

If you wish, you can borrow a canoe and explore the Hobøl river. Or you can take a ride on "The Funny Ride" a small tractor with wagon that takes the kids on a ride around the yard. Both canoe rental and tractor driving are included in the price.

On the farm you will also find a fantastic diner. At The Funny Café you can get a real bite to eat. Everything is homemade.

Farm accommodation with animal care.
Very cozy cottage for rent on the Funny farm. The cabin is situated by itself surrounded by forest in close proximity to perhaps Norway's coziest visitor farm? Here they have all the animals you can dream of! We can mention, for example, llamas, emu, donkeys and goats. The animals roam freely in the yard and are tame. The vast majority of them like to be cuddled with! When you book accommodation, you get a VIP ticket to The Funny Farm and the opportunity to join the animal care and feeding of the animals in the morning.

During your stay, the price includes renting canoes and cuddling with the animals. In addition, there are pleasant walks in the local area with bathing opportunities. At weekends they have an open cafe with homemade cakes.

The café at The Funny Farm is truly one of a kind, and is furnished like a 50's diner and decorated according to the seasons.
The café is open in connection with the open farm, and here you will be served homemade cakes, waffles, ice cream and sandwiches and much more.

Opening hours
The Funny Farm is open on weekends from the third weekend in March until the end of October, every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Extended opening hours during the school holidays, check the website  for a detailed overview. Closed in January and February.
