New from March 23, 2018: The Tollboden Hotel is a small, charming hotel near the waterside at the Blindtarmen in the center of Kragerø. When the old walls and floors from 1783 meet an exclusive and modern design, it creates a unique atmosphere that you can experience in our 19 rooms. With our 2 restaurants, wine cellar, course and conference facilities we offer a complete experience - with the possibility to rent the entire hotel.

We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible: choose your duvet and pillow by yourself and feel like at home. 

Enjoy your stay in one of our charming double rooms and suites with sea views or the view over our green oasis - Bakhagen - which lies behind the doors of the Tollboden main house.

Enjoy the feeling of southern Norway and live jazz at Tollboden Restaurant  near the waterside or attend one of the summer's concerts with 3-course dinner. Start the Sunday with a brunch buffet in Bakhagen or enjoy a delicious multi-course menu in the evening in a sheltered atmosphere. In the wine cellar, over 10.000 hand-picked bottles of wine are waiting for you to be discovered - please ask for a view or recommendation. We pride ouselves with being awarded "2 glass" from Wine Spectator for our wine menu. We also offer wine tasting for small groups, arranging Winemakers Dinner from spring to autumn and atmospheric Christmas parties in front of the chimney.
