Tromsø Snow Dome is a spectacular indoor attraction made entirely of snow and ice, located in the heart of the Arctic. Through four unique rooms, you will embark on a journey through Northern Norwegian history, nature and mythology.
Experience the power of Norse mythology, where Ragnarok symbolises both an ending and a new beginning. Step into the world of polar history, with ice art inspired by expeditions and pioneers who set out from Tromsø – known as the Gateway to the Arctic. One room is dedicated to life in the Arctic, bringing stories of fishing, hunting and survival in the harsh North to life. Finally, be enchanted by the Arctic light in the room dedicated to Sámi art and the Northern Lights, featuring vivid light projections and immersive soundscapes.
After the experience, guests can visit Parken Lavvo, a warm and atmospheric tentipi serving food and drinks from local producers, with a focus on authentic Arctic flavours.
Tromsø Snow Dome is open all year round and is perfect for both individual visitors and groups. This experience is ideal for tourists, travel operators and event organisers looking for something truly out of the ordinary.
