Relaxation end enjoyment close to nature

At Venåsen forest camp you can stay in a luxurious canvas tent with a double bed and a wood stove. In the tent you can listen to the sounds of the forest while enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee or go for a walk nearby. Lie in the tent by the crackling fire and hear the rain drum against the tent. All depending on the weather. When it's clear weather: how long has it been since you lay on your back and just looked at the sky through the treetops, or at the stars?

You will experience some of what the Trøndelag weather and nature has to offer. Are you one of those who are not dependent on a heat pump, but who like to feel the cool air and who are looking for an opportunity to feel the contrasts that the seasons have to offer, while living comfortably?. Then this is the place for you in autumn / winter, for example. 
Next to the glamping tent and available for you during your stay is the barbecue area with fireplace and seating under canvas cover. 

In the foraging season, from March to October, you also have the opportunity to participate in our courses and hikes and learn more about foraging of wild crops. 

Welcome basket
Since we are located in the middle of one of Norway's greatest food regions, we would love to give you a taste of Trøndelag. Included inyour stay is therefore a food basket with products from some of the great food producers we have here in Inderøy.

Activities in the local area
Inderøy offers a wide variety of activities, local food and beautiful nature and cultural landscape. In the immediate vicinity of the tent is a large network of hiking trails and lean-tos / shelters. In the winter season, weather conditions permitting; there is a ski trail right next door, and you can go ice skating on the lake right next to the forest.
We are not far from The Golden Road, which is a collaboration between tourism operators in Inderøy. A  trip around the Golden Road offer a beautiful journey through the area.
Why not bring a bike? The many side roads in Inderøy are perfect for cycling.
